Train like a Bi-athlete with Body Bar

The Biathlon is a combination of fast-paced Nordic skiing and accurate target shooting.  Each sport alone is difficult & combining the two is very challenging.  To train for this Olympic event, athletes need to be have the endurance and strength to ski 2-3 laps and hit five targets at 50 meter distance.  The main focus of strength training involves developing muscles that help with balance and power.  This Body Bar movement will utilize both power and balance since it requires you to perform a twist your torso while balancing on one leg plus the added power movement of driving your knees up at a challenging pace without compromising form.
